Hello!
At the beginning of the school year I decided to make the move to flexible seating in our library. Doing this created an inviting reading area for the students and it has been a big hit! I have had more students coming into the library than previously and there are more and more students taking advantage of this area to read.
I love finding new and fun ways to get students to read. I hope that through this and some of our collection development practices that we can help students find that one book that sets them on the path of loving to read.
